Mine Kill State Park Phone: (518) 827-6111 Bring the whole family to enjoy a winter stroll for a good cause! In addition to a candlelit loop, there will be warm beverages, a winter craft, and holiday tunes. Free admission but a donation of canned food items for our statewide food drive strongly encouraged! Event will be held at our mid-level pavilion picnic area Accessibility information: The lit trail will be approximately 0.4 miles and is entirely paved with small inclines. There are benches along the path. Portable bathrooms will be ADA Handicap accessible. Our pavilion is connected to the paved path with no obstacles. Black Diamond Trail All ages are welcome as we get some exercise, build community, and learn a bit more about each park's history, geology, and unique natural history. First Saturday Hikes are free to join, and no registration is required. For questions about hike locations, difficulty, or other related questions, please email FingerLakesEducation@parks.ny.gov. Meet at the Jacksonville Road parking lot. The hike will go out 2 ½ miles on the Black Diamond Trail, then turn around and return to the parking lot. Approximately 5 miles. Hike length and exact route is subject to change due to weather conditions.

Robert H. Treman State Park All ages are welcome as we get some exercise, build community, and learn a bit more about each park's history, geology, and unique natural history. First Saturday Hikes are free to join, and no registration is required. For questions about hike locations, difficulty, or other related questions, please email FingerLakesEducation@parks.ny.gov. Meet at the Upper Entrance parking lot by the Old Mill. The hike will begin on the Rim Trail and will continue to the Lower Park. We will return to the Upper Entrance via the Gorge Trail. Approximately 4.5 miles. Hike length and exact route is subject to change due to weather conditions.

Mine Kill State Park Phone: (518) 827-6111 Join us if you dare! Take a haunted hike and try your chances with what goes bump in the night. Free admission! Family friendly hour from 5pm-6pm, after 6pm our haunted hike is not suitable for children under 8. The trail will begin at our midlevel pavilion picnic area. Accessibility information: The trail is approximately 1 mile but has some rough trail bottom and sections of steep terrain. The paved loop above the pavilion will be decorated as well. Bathrooms are ADA compliant, and our pavilion is connected to the paved path with no obstacles. Please call with any questions about accessibility (518)827-6111.

Fort Montgomery State Historic Site Join the Fort Montgomery Battle Site Association as they commemorate the 248th anniversary of the battle for Forts Montgomery and Clinton and bring to life the people who lived here through camp life demonstrations and children's activities.

Catharine Valley Trail All ages are welcome as we get some exercise, build community, and learn a bit more about each park's history, geology, and unique natural history. First Saturday Hikes are free to join, and no registration is required. For questions about hike locations, difficulty, or other related questions, please email FingerLakesEducation@parks.ny.gov. Meet at the parking area off South Genesee Street in the Village of Montour Falls. We will hike the Loop Trail portion of the Catherine Valley Trail and then continue 1 mile on the Catherine Valley Trail until we reach Cook Street in Montour Falls. We will then hike back to the parking area. Approximately 3.3 miles. Hike length and exact route is subject to change due to weather conditions.

Fort Montgomery State Historic Site Presenter Drew Shuptar-Rayvis, cultural ambassador of the Pocomoke Nation will provide a compelling and fascinating first-person, Northeast Woodland, Native American portrayal. This program will present the contributions, struggles and sacrifices made by Algonkian peoples during the War of American Independence. Visitors will learn about the material culture of Algonkian people during the Revolution and discover the complex political paths of patriotism, toryism and neutrality that shaped the history of many Algonkian and Iroquoian people in order to preserve their ways of life.

The 3rd New Jersey Regiment, Captain Bloomfield's Company is a living history group dedicated to historical authenticity. This activity-filled day with the Greys promises an exciting, authentic glimpse of Continental soldering and camp follower life during the American Revolution.

- The Bronze Men: the 369th Infantry Regiment in World War I (Saturday, July 19, 2025 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM)on July 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm
National Purple Heart Hall of Honor The Hall of Honor will show the PBS documentary about the 369th Infantry Regiment, an all-black regiment that served during World War I. The regiment, originally the 15th New York National Guard served for 191 in combat, longer than any other American unit during the War. Surviving members were interviewed during the 1970's and tell their stories in this documentary.

The pool deck is concrete with no step changes. Vendors will be along sidewalks. A pool lift is available to assist access to the main pool.
